Live Training Program

Overview:

ELLI will likely offer various Live Training opportunities in the future depending on demand. No training events will be considered unless a minimum number of participants can be in attendance. Live Training events take a lot of resources to conduct. Therefore, it must be worthwhile to Mark Carlson to set aside time to prepare and conduct them.

Ideally, the Live Training program would serve small business operations or teams that wish to be better developed. This could also apply to a group of landscape architects, interior designers, or other lighting designers.

Live Training opportunities can be customized based on the need of these small groups. Most of this type of training would be located near Mark Carlson’s operating environment located near Sacramento, CA. However, there may be situations where an event could be hosted by a company location around the country. Please submit a request at: understand.elli@gmail.com.

Cost: Because every event is dependent upon the number of attendees, it is difficult to provide any specific information. In addition, there are many unknown factors (# of days/nights in training, food & beverages, travel, accommodations, etc.). However, as a ballpark, estimated cost for a 3-4 day event, one might pay from $2,000.00 – $4,000.00 per person.

Past Events

ELLI had its first Live Training Event in January 2025 that was hosted in San Diego, CA. It was a “Designer’s Collective Workshop” shared with Nate Mullen of Lifetime Lighting Systems. We had 15 total attendees (we completely filled the event).
